Won't you introduce yourself and join the Conversation?
Welcome to Words, Wisdom & Conversation. I’m so glad you’re here and would love to know more about you. I’m K.R., an award-winning writer of three international suspense novels. Book 4 is currently in revision. At the same time, I’m drafting Book 5. I get cranky if I’m not writing daily, taking long walks with our new puppy, and carving out some downtime to read and just hang out with my husband and friends in our tiny seaside village on the west coast of Canada.
Besides writing my free monthly newsletter for my fiction readers, my passion here on Substack is writing for creatives of a “certain age.” If you’re in your 60s, 70s, 80s+, I’d love you to join the Conversation. I believe we have so much we can learn from each other.
Please introduce yourself by leaving a comment below. I truly want to know more about you and how you found your way here. What are your passions and interests? Where are you in your creative life? Are you a writer or do you express your creativity in other ways? Are you thriving at this moment, or are you stuck? Is there anything you need in the way of inspiration or support? I’d LOVE to know!
Thank you for being here. I really appreciate you spending your time with me! 🩶
Hi, K.R.! I'm Charlotte, a women's fiction author with two novels and one novella out. I love connecting with other authors and sharing what works for us and what doesn't so thanks for starting this. I live in a multi-generational home that is often quite chaotic but I wouldn't change it for anything. I'm a lifelong journaler, knitter, and stitcher. And I do enjoy some activities that don't involve sitting down, like walking and gardening, but I'm sidelined for the moment until knee replacement surgery in November. I look forward to hearing about others!
Lovely to hear from you again, Charlotte! Lovely to meet another writer. Like you, I journal and knit. Good luck with that knee replacement. I must admit, I fought it for a while but 7 years out, I’m SO glad I did it. Do the rehab 🩷
